For a solo exhibition at Illuminations Gallery, curated by Aoife Tunney, The Well (2017), a multi-screen film installation, was presented alongside Borders (2019), a series of photographic collages.

As part of the exhibition, a series of performative interventions were developed in collaboration with musician Nina Hynes across the Maynooth University campus. These site-specific works took place in locations such as a tunnel, woodland, mound and areas of wasteland, each becoming temporary sites for short performances that unfolded in relation to their environments. The interventions culminated in a layered sonic activation within Illuminations Gallery and its surrounding balconies, extending the work into both interior and exterior space.

Developed through conversations with staff and students, the project explored questions of belonging, embodiment and displacement, as well as the ways in which meaning is attributed to spaces of differing visibility and status within institutional settings. The work sought to activate and give voice to areas of the campus often overlooked, proposing them as sites of presence, ceremony and collective attention.
